How to use SQUISH.

The Basics

SQUISH is designed to be intuitive. All tools work on a "Drop and Process" model. Since everything happens in your browser, you don't need to wait for uploads.

  1. Select a tool from the homepage or footer.
  2. Drag and drop your files into the workspace.
  3. Adjust settings (if available) and click the process button.
  4. Download your optimized results immediately.

PDF Tools Guide

Merging PDFs

Upload multiple PDF files. You can reorder them in the sidebar by clicking on the file preview. Once ready, click "Merge PDFs" to join them into a single document.

Splitting PDFs

Upload a single PDF. In the command bar, enter the page ranges or individual pages you want to extract (e.g., "1-5, 10, 12-15"). Click "Split PDF" to generate a new document with only those pages.

Organizing & Page Placement

The Organize tool gives you full control over page flow.Reorder pages by dragging and dropping them into your desired position in the sidebar. Use the Rotate tool to fix orientations and the Delete tool to remove unwanted pages before finalizing.

Secure PDF Editing

Protect your documents with professional features. Use Watermark to add custom identifying text across all pages. The Strip Metadata feature allows you to remove sensitive hidden information (like author names and creation dates) ensuring total document privacy before sharing.

Compressing PDF

Reduces the file size of your PDF while maintaining readability. Ideal for email attachments.

Compression

Adjust the quality slider to find the perfect balance between file size and visual clarity. We support PNG, JPG, and WebP compression.

Conversion

Select your target format (e.g., WebP for web optimization or JPG for broad compatibility). You can convert multiple images at once.

Pro Tip: Privacy First

Because SQUISH runs in your browser, you can even use it while offline. Once the page is loaded, your internet connection is no longer needed to process documents.
